The Disproportional Benefits Theory:
During initial research trials at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge scientists found the benefits of an integration of just a small amount of prairie made a big impact on soil and water quality and biodiversity. The small changes which result in big impacts were dubbed “the disproportional benefits theory” of prairie strips.
